Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of a deposit of 25% of the total rate of the booking or in full if less than 8 weeks before your holiday.

On receipt of a deposit confirmation of the booking will be sent to you. On receipt of final payment and acceptance of our terms acknowledgement will be sent to you and arrangements for the key etc.

If your booking is cancelled by the owner for any reason, liability is limited to the return of payments received.

If the booking is cancelled by the hirer, the deposit will be non-refundable. If cancelled less than 8 weeks prior to the holiday, the final payment is also non refundable if re-letting is unsuccessful. Whilst we will make every effort to re-let, we recommend that comprehensive insurance is taken out to cover the possibility of cancellation.

No smoking is allowed in the property.

The party should not exceed 8 people.

No dogs or other pets allowed.

The hirer who books the property shall be deemed responsible for the actions of their party and the property during periods of rental and is expected to ensure reasonable care is taken of it. The rooms and all utensils and equipment should be left clean and tidy at the end of the hire period.

Any breakages or damage should be reported to the owners as soon as possible.

No liability is accepted for any loss, damage or expenses of any kind sustained by a member of the party in connection with Chestnut House, whatever the cause may be, except when such loss, damage or additional expense is the result of proven negligence by the property owner.
